The hotel is well situated in old town Quebec. The staff was most helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were excellent.
My wife and I are 75 and I have a bad back. To obtain the room we wanted (twin beds) we had to climb two flights of steep stairs. Most guests would not have a problem but this was my unique issue. Certainly not a complaint about the hotel.

Quiet, comfortable, not so close to noisy restaurants but the area was not buzzing. Easy walks around Quebec City though. Breakfast good.
No coffee sachets in room. Tea offered.

We stayed for two nights for a weekend gateway. This is a small hotel therefore you don't get a standard room as you stay at chain hotels. I feel like it's more like a B&B type hotel where the staff are friendly and the breakfast is also provided. The location is good that everything in the old town is in walking distance. [Well, Quebec city old town isn't too big] The facility is old but they keep it very clean.
The only drawback is the bathroom in my room is very small.

Staying at this charming hotel was like a step back in time with its beautiful decor. We enjoyed a good breakfast and appreciated the staff's personalized tour, complete with a map of local attractions. The location was perfect for our family with a young baby.
In my wife's opinion, a small play area for kids would be great.

Our room was lovely; furnished with a mix of antiques, art, and, comfort! The food, both dinner and breakfast, was outstanding! We really appreciated the generous list of half bottles of wine. Friendly service, great food, and a comfortable room! This is a winner.
